TaskSocial Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TaskSocial mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Red Green LLC ("TaskSocial," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, accessing the Service, or using TaskSocial, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who May Use TaskSocial

You must be at least 13 years old to use TaskSocial. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use TaskSocial only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your use of the Service.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate account information and to update it when needed.

You may not use another person's account without permission, impersonate another person, create accounts for abusive purposes, or interfere with another user's use of TaskSocial.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, applicable law, or the rights or safety of others.

3. Social Features and User Content

TaskSocial includes social accountability features, including profiles, friends, shared tasks, Feed activity, check-ins, comments, reactions, gifts, messages, photos, videos, audio, GIFs, milestones, and other content that users create, upload, send, or share ("User Content").

You are responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have the rights needed to post or share it and that your User Content does not violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, applicable law, or anyone else's rights.

You may not post, upload, send, or share content that:

- Harasses, threatens, bullies, abuses, exploits, or targets another person.

- Is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, graphic, violent, illegal, deceptive, or harmful.

- Violates another person's privacy, intellectual property, publicity, or other rights.

- Contains malware, spam, scams, or attempts to manipulate the Service.

- Encourages self-harm, violence, illegal activity, or dangerous behavior.

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other action if we believe content or behavior violates these Terms or creates risk for TaskSocial, users, or others.

4. Community Guidelines, Reporting, and Blocking

TaskSocial is intended to be a supportive productivity and accountability community. You agree to follow the Community Guidelines shown in the app.

TaskSocial provides reporting and blocking tools. We may review reports, remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, or contact authorities when we believe it is appropriate or legally required.

5. Private Tasks and Focus Studio

TaskSocial includes private features, including private tasks and Focus Studio features such as Private Journal, Goals, Task & Habit Coach, Progress Review, and Vision Board.

Private features are intended for your personal use. You are responsible for what you create, save, import, screenshot, export, copy, or share. You should not store information in TaskSocial that you would not want exposed under any circumstances.

TaskSocial uses reasonable technical and product safeguards to separate private features from social features, but no software system can be guaranteed to be error-free or perfectly secure.

6. Apple Intelligence, Coaching, and Suggestions

TaskSocial may provide prompts, coaching text, draft tasks, draft habits, planning suggestions, or other generated content. Some features may use Apple Intelligence or Apple's Foundation Models on supported devices and operating systems.

Generated content is provided for general productivity and reflection only. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before using them.

TaskSocial does not provide medical, mental health, therapy, legal, financial, tax, fitness, nutrition, or other professional advice. Do not rely on TaskSocial as a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency support, or crisis services.

If you may be in danger, may hurt yourself or someone else, or need urgent help, contact emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

7. Purchases, Subscriptions, and TaskSocial Plus

TaskSocial may offer free features, paid features, one-time in-app purchases, consumable digital goods, non-consumable digital goods, and auto-renewing subscriptions such as TaskSocial Plus.

All App Store purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple, not TaskSocial. Prices, subscription periods, trial terms, renewal terms, and available offers are shown in the app purchase flow before you confirm a purchase.

If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription:

- Your Apple ID account will be charged when you confirm the purchase.

- The subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

- Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.

- Deleting the TaskSocial app or your TaskSocial account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.

Free trials, launch access, discounts, promotional offers, or introductory offers may be limited, changed, or discontinued as allowed by Apple policies and applicable law. If a free trial converts to a paid subscription, Apple will show the terms before purchase confirmation.

Subscription features may depend on your device, iOS version, Apple Intelligence availability, network connection, account status, regional availability, and feature rollout timing.

8. Tokens, Gifts, and Digital Goods

TaskSocial may offer TaskSocial Tokens, cosmetic packs, gifts, charms, Pop Packs, nameplate fonts, cell colors, textures, borders, animations, and other digital goods.

Digital goods are licensed, not sold. They are for use inside TaskSocial only, have no cash value, are not legal tender, and cannot be redeemed for money or transferred outside supported in-app flows.

TaskSocial Tokens may be consumable. Restoring purchases may restore eligible non-consumable purchases or active subscription access, but consumed tokens or used digital goods may not be restorable unless required by law or App Store policy.

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.

We may change, rebalance, rename, remove, or discontinue digital goods or features, but we will try to avoid materially reducing paid entitlements without a reasonable product or legal reason.

9. License to Use the Service

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TaskSocial for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, interfere with, or misuse the Service except as allowed by law.

10. Rights in User Content

You keep ownership of your User Content. By posting, uploading, sending, or sharing User Content through social or cloud-connected features, you grant TaskSocial a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, display, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, protect, and provide the Service.

This license ends when your User Content is deleted from our active systems, except where retention is needed for backups, logs, legal obligations, safety, security, fraud prevention, enforcement, or where content has already been shared with other users.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information. By using TaskSocial, you acknowledge that we handle information as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Third-Party Services

TaskSocial may use or link to third-party services, including Apple, Firebase/Google services, sign-in providers, media providers, analytics, crash reporting, and infrastructure providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services, content, terms, policies, or practices.

13. App Store Terms

If you download TaskSocial from the Apple App Store, Apple's terms also apply to your use of the app and App Store purchases. Apple is not responsible for TaskSocial or its content. Apple may enforce these Terms as a third-party beneficiary where applicable.

14. Disclaimers

TaskSocial is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, available in every location, compatible with every device, or that data will never be lost.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, TaskSocial and Red Green LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, device failure, or unauthorized access, even if we were advised of the possibility of those damages.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to TaskSocial for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

16. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TaskSocial, Red Green LLC, and our owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and partners from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms, applicable law, or another person's rights.

17. Changes to the Service

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may also update, add, or remove features, eligibility requirements, pricing, availability, or technical requirements.

If a change materially affects an active paid subscription, we will handle it as required by Apple policies and applicable law.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the app, website, App Store metadata, or other reasonable means.

Your continued use of TaskSocial after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local law requires otherwise.
